My Story
There's always a point where the story began! Mine was years ago when I fell asleep eating Reese's mini cups when I was 17.5 years old. I kept trying to convince myself that the "dryer was shrinking" my clothes. As time went on, I found this, to absolutely not be true, not in my case anyway. That next morning, I knew I needed to change & so the process began. Though it was more of I need to lose weight process and didn't quite grasp the whole of it. I managed for several years, just fine. As for the future, well, I didn't quite know what it held. Four kids, love each of them and each pregnancy, I gained 100 pounds. I did not recognize my body. each time, I found myself in a position of needing to regain my footing on what health meant. And so...each pregnancy, I would set out to lose the weight. There are many ways to "get there" & I needed a way back. And in getting back, I ran into a pattern, I ran into a solution. I ran in to the many different aspects of what a Weight Loss, of what a Healthy Lifestyle has the possibility of holding. And that is where the Break the Barrier: Weight Loss & Healthy Lifestyle Program was founded from. It is the plan I used each time, to shed that 100 pounds. There are many different ways this program can be applied. Weight Loss, Healthy eating, Strength Training. It gain a hold on Menopause struggles and mostly it can be used to reach an increased lifestyle. You may ask, have I kept my weight off? Yes! For at least a decade now. And, I continue to follow this same plan. When I struggle, I come back here to the phase that I feel most fits where I am in life! And, that the great thing about Break the Barrier, there are phases! You can start where you feel best!
